Getting his start as a fashion model at the age of 15, Morgan O’Connor has since taken his talents to the music industry, focusing his efforts on recording his first acoustic EP.
After being discovered by Ralph Lauren head stylist Meryl Griffith in Newport, RI Morgan swiftly rose to fame as the face of three Ralph Lauren ad campaigns. He has since modeled for the likes of Moschino and has recently been featured on a Times Square billboard for Nick Graham.
Now, Morgan’s latest endeavors are in the music world. Playing the guitar since the age of eight, O’Connor has been spending the past two years focused on writing, singing and recording his first acoustic EP. Working with producers such as Janet Sewell, Dairus Harrison (Deezle,) Mysto and Pizzi, 808 Mafia and Jean Beauvoir have enabled him to explore his own sound and now Morgan’s music employs a fusion of pop and progressive drum patterns, double time high-hats and heavy hitting 808 kicks.
In his free time, O’Connor works on hosting art shows for different street artists in New York and devotes time to Sailing Heals, a charity that takes cancer patients out sailing for a spirit lifting day at sea. Morgan is also an avid sailor himself and competes in many different sailing competitions around the world since a young age.
